Keti is Tall and sour.

Dear all,

The post got that name because I am cool. The post is going to be short and sweet, and I am tall and sour. Not actually sour, it just fit. I am borrowing my host brothers internet, and have already been on here too long, so just a few quick words:

I love you!

Also, I am with my host family, in the Village Savaneti. It is near a town called Sachkhere. Look it up id you want to, I have not yet so I have very little information. I do know it was the home of a very famouse Georgian writer whose name I cannot even remember, let alone spell/pronounce!

I will write as soon as I can, but I am not sure how soon that may be. Just know for now that I am safe happy and well!

Katie

PS:
Dear Ma,
I am alive still. I love you a lot. The weather is weird, and so is my email.
Love Katie

  1. Dearest Katie M. Mitchell,
I want to tell you a story. The story is about a young girl who went out to find her way in the world. She did extraordinary things! People from all around the world loved and adored her. Her radness and propensity to make everyone around her laugh hysterically (and sometimes maniacally) ingratiated her into the hearts of all she met. Her praises and acclaims were song far and wide. Yet, in all her wonderment and beauty there was one thing she unfortunately overlooked and forgot in her joys found abroad. That one thing was her poor little-ler but older spinster sister. This shorter/older sister sits in the dank, dark office she spends too much time in and aches for the companionship of her dear taller/younger sister until her slowly fluttering heart is about to beat its last little bleep. Yet, however much this unnamed sister yearns for her sibling and wishes for her return, she knows in her inmost soul that the tall one is doing fabulous and important things that will make the whole small (but seemingly large when time is considered) world a more lovely place.
Wowzer! That story really got to me and makes me sniffle a tid-bit. And This story just goes to show you that, well . . . . some people are really weird and possibly have strange abandonment issues.
-I love you. And if you can't tell, I miss you.
